Wiltshire's Small Business of the Year
Wiltshire's Small Business of the Year
I am delighted to share that we have just been picked as the runner-up as Small Business of the Year in our local county Wiltshire's Business Awards.
The Awards ceremony, organised by Newsquest Wiltshire, was held at Center Parcs’ Longleat Forest holiday venue, near Warminster, with the local business community coming together to celebrate the successes of the last 12 months.
According to the judges, from you to me is “a local business with a clear strategy and brand; delivering exceptional results in a world recession; winning product awards in the UK and overseas; delivering innovative new products; working with a network of local suppliers and partners; giving exceptional service to customers and suppliers; caring about its employees and their work/life balance. This profitable business will continue to grow and grow”.
Our relationship with our local community is very important to us, so being selected as a finalist for the Wiltshire Small Business of the Year is a proud moment for us. Despite the UK’s recession it was great to see so many businesses at these awards bucking the trend and demonstrating business growth. Personally, our own company is also growing well and we continue to work closely with the local community so becoming the runner-up in the Wiltshire Small Business of the Year is a great recognition for all our team.
The Awards evening was also a great chance to celebrate with other winners and contenders - and the food and wine flowed very generously along with the humour of host Ben Prater from BBC Wiltshire's breakfast show.
